Adequate hydration has a huge impact on your immune system. Water helps all of your body’s systems function at optimum levels. Drinking plenty of water flushes toxins and ensures that your cells get all of the oxygen they need to function as they were meant to. We need water inside and out. Our skin is the biggest barrier we have in guarding ourselves against disease. A daily shower or bath is essential.
Calculate how much water you need each day by dividing your weight by 2, and then drinking at least that many ounces each day.
Example - a 150lb person needs to drink 75 ounces of water/day.
Take a daily shower or bath. Finish your bath or shower with a 10-15 second cold water rinse. This promotes increase circulation and increased white blood cell production.
For dry skin - turn down the temperature of the water and avoid very bubbly products.
